Mounting Instructions

These mounting instructions will explain how to attach HoodWare to your car, truck or SUV as well as file cabinets, mail boxes, refrigerators, home and automotive glass windows and doors.

HoodWare’s unique designs allow fast and easy mounting to any 2” receiver trailer hitch. Simply “snap” the Hitch Adapter (optional)

into the back of your HoodWare ABS plastic oval and insert hitch cover into receiver. Secure the hitch cover with a locking pin (sold separately).

Each HoodWare oval includes two each, built-in magnets which provide over twenty pounds of magnetic pull holding the oval firmly in place at speeds in excess of 80 mph. Simply place the HoodWare oval on any metallic surface and enjoy turning heads!

Glass Application

Using HoodWare’s exclusive magnetic window adapter (sold separately) you can mount your HoodWare ovals to any glass surface. Just place the oval in the desired location. While holding the oval in place attach the window adapter to the back side of the glass.

Vehicle Grill Application

All HoodWare ovals are mountable to most vehicle grills. Using two elastic bungee cords or zip ties (sold separately) connect the bungee cords or zip ties through the built-in slots on the back of the HoodWare oval and “thread” through your vehicle’s grill slots and connect again to the HoodWare oval using the built-in slots.

Think safety when applying HoodWare

Do not install HoodWare when engine is running
Do not adjust your HoodWare while vehicle is in motion
When using magnets, Hoodware should be mounted on a flat surface with solid contact to door, hood, roof, or tail hatch
Do not apply Hoodware within six inches of a corner of the car
Always position Hoodware with the short end facing the wind direction
